Avemore Vredehof 1 is a welcoming private two-bedroom, two-bathroom self-catering apartment situated in a quiet secure location in the heart of Stellenbosch. Restaurants, museums, art galleries and the internationally acclaimed University of Stellenbosch is only a 5-minute walk from the apartment, making your stay convenient.

We have installed a Victron backup system for load shedding as well as a Daikin aircon in the bedrooms. The solid wood table offers space for an intimate dinner, and if you feel like a braai, you are most welcome to use the Weber in the garden with a large garden table.

One bedroom comprises a queen bed and the other comprises a double bed. The fully equipped apartment features air conditioning, satellite television, free internet, beautiful décor and excellent quality furniture. Complimentary quality linen and towels are supplied. The kitchen is fully equipped and also comprises a Nespresso machine, dishwasher and washer/dryer. A lockable safe, hairdryer and electric blankets are provided. Guests can login with their Netflix information on the TV.

The apartment has a small private enclosed garden area with braai facilities and a small shed for hiking gear or a bicycle. There is free secure parking for 3 vehicles behind the electrical gate and fence. If you feel like a swim or picnic, you are most welcome to visit our Avemore Le Verger in the Devon Valley.

This cosy apartment is great for parents visiting their kids at varsity, parents coming to watch sports at the Paul Roos Gymnasium and Coetzenburg athletics stadium that’s 700m from the apartment or tourists that want to stay for long periods at a place without much noise. The apartment is perfectly situated for those who would like to explore the historic town of Stellenbosch and all the nearby attractions. Open markets, pavement cafes, Quick Spar & Deli, Lanzerac Day Spa, Asara Wine Estate and the Jonkershoek Nature Reserve are all close by. Cape Town International Airport is located 28 km away

Pre-Payment Policy
100% Deposit is required to secure your booking.
No Pets Allowed
No Smoking Allowed
No Parties

Cancellation Policy
If cancelled 30 days or less prior to arrival, you are liable for 100% of the booking total
If cancelled 60-31 days prior to arrival, you are liable for 50% of the booking total.
An admin fee of up to 10% of the booking value is charged for cancellations made 61 days or more before arrival.
Early check out and no show - will forfeit full booking total

Parking
Kindly ensure that you park on the allocated parking spot. Failure to do so may result in Avemore Apartments incurring a fine which you would then be liable to pay. In the unlikely event that someone else has parked on your allocated spot, kindly take a picture of the vehicle registration number and send it to us so that we may report the matter to the relevant Body Corporate.

Breakage Deposit
There is no breakage deposit required, but guests will be invoiced upon Check-Out, should there be any breakages or stains on furniture/linen, additional cleaning will be charged in extreme cases. Breakages are payable within 7 days of receiving your breakage invoice.

We are happy to let you know that Avemore Vredehof No 1  has a back-up power supply to cover you during electricity load-shedding which affects South Africa from time to time.
To ensure that you have power available throughout the load-shedding slot, please alternate the use of the following appliances as using them all at the same time may deplete the battery too quickly:
• Microwave
• Kettle
• Toaster
• Air-conditioners.
Please also ensure that air conditioners are turned off when leaving the apartment.
During loadshedding the electric stove will not work.
Our back up system will make sure you have a wonderful stay.
